Jennifer Irwin
Sculptor and Artist

Jennifer Irwin,  born 1976 in New York.   Early training at the Art Students League of New York.   B.A. in art history, Wesleyan University, CT.  Her primary education as a sculptor took place at the Goetheanum near Basel, Switzerland, under the mentorship of the sculptor/architect Christian Hitsch.  Additional training and experience in stone carving at the sculpture school Bildhauerschule Müllheim in Switzerland and the Studio Nicoli in Carrara, Italy.  Active as a sculptor in wood, stone and bronze for both indoor and outdoor areas; exhibitions, sales and commisions internationally.  She also teaches courses in sculpture and drawing, primarily inspired by Rudolf Steiner's art impulse.  She currently lives and works in Vienna.
